Come learn about the
            Michigan Cultural Data Project

We are pleased to announce the launch of the Michigan Cultural Data Project (Michigan CDP), the first online management tool designed to strengthen arts and cultural organizations. This unique system will provide your organization with the tools necessary to analyze and benchmark your financial and organizational data. By participating in the Michigan CDP, you will be part of a successful and growing project that will allow the arts community as a whole to better articulate and provide evidence for the sector’s assets and needs, as well as its contributions to the state and the country. The system will enable you to run reports on your organization, which you can use as one part of the grant application process to partnering funders and to make your case to board members, potential donors, advocates and policy makers.

Learn more about the Michigan CDP at www.miculturaldata.org.

Get the most from the Michigan CDP.
              Attend a free training session.

These important training sessions will provide you with an overview of the history and goals of the Michigan CDP, as well as an introduction to the types of data collected. (Since this is not a hands-on session, you do not need to bring a laptop or your financial records.) Please feel free to attend these sessions with more than one representative of your organization, including your executive director, your finance manager/bookkeeper and your development director.
